Swim Little Fishy....

In June Nixon took his first swimming lessons! It was a two week class and I was so excited for him to have something today (since at that time it still wasn't warm enough outside to go swimming!). I took him to his first class and I could tell it was going to be a rough start. I had to wake him up from his nap to make it on time, and once we were there he was still a bit ornery that he didn't really care to do anything the teacher had asked of him! I was a bit discouraged and was thinking the next two weeks were NOT going to be fun! The next day Conner swam with him. He was TOTALLY different! He did everything he was suppose to and had so much fun, and he also threw a fit when it was time to leave! He did better and better and loved every minute of it! He is our little swimmer boy! Now when we go to the Logan Aquatics Center it is fun to see him be more daring and branch out a bit, especially compared to last year when he didn't even dare stand up OR leave our side!
