Grandma & Grandpa Edwards/ Formula 1

Conner's parents came down the week after my parents were here to go to the Formula 1 race here in Austin. Conner and Nixon were able to go to the track for 4 days straight, I joined in on the fun on the last day for the actual race. It is an understatement to say how obsessed Nixon has become with race cars since then. He has always loved cars and racing his cars....but now he is obsessed with actual race cars. He has the formula 1 drivers memorized! He studies there book and little flash cards I made him everyday!! He had such a fun time!! It was also great to see Conner's parents and to have them come see our new stomping grounds!

A VERY special visit!!!!

We told Nixon that Grandma and Bampa would be coming to watch him play soccer SOMETIME...but that is about all he knew...and for a 3 year old that doesn't mean much about when exactly they are coming. So you can imagine the excitement on his face when he got up to answer the door after hearing the doorbell ring and finding GRANDMA and BAMPA on our front porch. BEST MOMENT EVER!!!! We had so much fun with them here in Texas. The time went way to fast, but we sure did keep busy and loved every minute of it!!!
