Overly friendly

I see A LOT of me in Nixon. I am embarrassed about it now, but I remember being what I would now call 'annoying' to everyone, especially the Juab Cheerleaders and football players....and everyone else. I guess you can say I was very outgoing and would go up to anyone and everyone to talk to. (Totally not like that now, it all caught up to me) Nixon is the same way. He wants to talk to everyone he sees. Every time he rides his bike now without training wheels, he will want to go up to anyone who is in the yard and tell them he rides with no training wheels now. Our neighbors are two sisters who live together and are a little older. They also have two dogs, Lincoln and Carter. (Nixon fits in well with his president name!) Every time Nixon sees one of the neighbors he will always run over there and give them a hug. If he sees them out on their balcony, then every time he will ask if they will bring their dogs down, which they always do. He LOVES the dogs and will hold their leash and run all over the yards with them. The two ladies act like they love Nixon and will always be so sweet and grandma like with him.

#9

Nixon FINALLY had his first soccer game! I feel like we have waited a LONNNNGGGG time for this! From the time we moved here and told him he was going to play soccer, he had not forgotten. Well, four months later soccer finally started. The first two games were canceled which he was really bummed about, but on October 6th he had his very first soccer game. He did VERY good! I was actually quite shocked that the ref took score (they are 3 & 4!) but, he did. Nixon scored 7 out of the 9 points for his team. All of the parents and even the ref was calling Nixon the MVP of the game. I'm not gonna lie, I was so proud and impressed at how well he was doing. Hopefully he can keep it up! He really LOVES playing. In fact, every time they had a break or when it was half time and all the kids would come off of the field, Nixon kept trying to get Lexi to go out and practice. He did not want to stop! My parents will be coming in a month to watch one of his games and we can not wait! He will always ask if people are going to watch his game on tv. haha!

Daddy

Nixon and Addie both LOVE Conner. You can just tell how Addie looks at him how much she loves him. And Nixon is obsessed and always wants to play and do what his Daddy is doing. Tonight before bed they got a little playing time in. Nixon was trying to get Conner and Addie crawled right over to try to get in the action. Conner put her feet on Nixon's head and she started kicking like crazy. We all thought it was hilarious, including Addie. Nixon...not so much! When Nixon wanted Conner to lift him up by his leg I was telling Nixon how I don't like that since the floor is hard tile. He reassured me by saying, " Daddy's got me mom. He has me tight." Good thing!

Fall Fair

On Saturday we took Lexi and Nixon to the Fall Fair that was put on by the elementary school in our neighborhood. They had such a fun time. Getting those two together sure is a lot of work though!!! (and yes, I am aware there are a lot of face painting pictures, but I got such a kick out of his face that I couldn't help putting them all! HAHAHAHA!)

I'm obsessed....

...with my little baby! I love that girl to pieces. Just writing thinking about her makes me want to go get her out of bed and squeeze her. Luckily I'm not THAT stupid. :) Adelyn really is such a sweet precious baby. She is already so funny to me and can definitely cheer me up when I am having a down day!
