Show off

Every time I sneak away to get some pictures of JUST Addie, Nixon will immediately find me and try to join in on the action. He is NUTS. I love that wild boy to death, and my sweet little princess as well! Man, I am one lucky mommy!

Little Fishy

I have never been swimming so much in one summer as I have in the few months I have lived in Texas. We are at the pool A LOT!!! Luckily, we found away for Addie to take her naps at or I should say IN the pool which makes things all the better!! Isn't she a cutie?! :)

New Toys

Nixon won a 20 dollar Target gift card at a bike decorating contest on the 4th of July, so we finally got around to letting him spend it. Taking him to the toy section to pick ONE toy is a bad bad idea. We were there forever. He finally chose a race track for his cars. We got home and he wanted it set up right away, dumb me forgot to buy D batteries! He was not too happy, but I promised him first thing in the morning we would get batteries and get his race track up and running. He loves it, and anything that keeps him occupied for more than 5 minutes is something I love as well.
Addie didn't leave empty handed either, we bought her a Jenny Jumper which she instantly fell in love with! Her expressions were priceless!!

Another Sign She is Growing Up!

When I look at newborn pictures of my baby it makes me so sad to think how fast she is growing. (uh, can you imagine how i feel when I look at Nixon's baby pictures?) Why do they have to grow so fast?! I love each stage they are at, but I just want to be able to hold them in my arms FOREVER! Addie started sitting up around 5 1/2 months. She does very well with it and even impressed her pediatrician at her 6 month appointment! way to go Addie! ;)

Building Blocks

Nixon will beg and plead for Conner to build a castle with him...Once the building begins Conner gets VERY into it and takes the whole thing quite seriously! Too bad Nixon has more fun knocking the thing down!

Besties

Nixon LOVES his friends and family! He is such a sweet friendly little guy to anyone and everyone. Almost too friendly (unless it comes to sharing). He is always talking about his cousins and I can tell he misses them SO much! (as do I) The best he can do is Skype with them, we will take all we can get. But for now, he is a very happy boy playing with his besties right here in Texas. In fact, he actually asked Lexi and Brooklyn to marry him. It's that serious...

I wanna SQUEEZE her!!!

Nixon wanted to watch a movie and eat popcorn which actually sounded quiet yummy so I got us each a bowl of popcorn and turned on a movie. I had Addie on my lap and she would watch me the ENTIRE time as I grabbed a piece of popcorn and took it to my mouth. Her eyes would follow my every move. She was wanting in on that popcorn! She is not always wanting to eat what we are eating and she also has VERY quick hands. If we have a plate, bowl, cup, or and food in arms reach...you better believe she will make the move and go after it! 

Although I think my daughter is MUCH cuter than this person, if she were to have a celebrity look alike with this picture I would have to see the winner would be Kramer. Do you agree?

I was in the kitchen and when Addie started SCREAMING. I looked over to find her stuck under the couch! That girl does NOT hold still!
