First walk with NO training wheels

Last Monday (Nixon's second day without training wheels) we decided to go for a walk before it started to warm up. Nixon insisted on riding his bike! I thought we would just walk around the block but Conner wanted to walk to the park by the pool (.7 miles from our home....yes, i tracked it after) I didn't think Nixon would be able to handle that since it was only his second day, BUT he proved me wrong! He did awesome. I was all smiles the whole time. He was quite thrilled with himself as well. Yay Nixon!!!

Let me clear two things up (my neighbors are probably wondering this themselves) 1-Nixon's bike is STILL decorated from the 4th of July. In fact, a flag fell off on this bike ride and he was so upset. It was blowing away and he made Conner go chase it, he was devastated that it couldn't be put back on. Maybe little by little it will just keep falling off like that. Maybe?...it could happen! 2- he HAS to wear his gloves when he rides his bike. It is a must. They aren't your typical cold weather gloves. Oh no. Don't let the looks fool you. They are special motorcycle ride without no training wheel gloves. Get it right! ;)
