Six Month Doc Appointment

Addie had her 6 month appointment with Dr Addy. We also surprised Nixon was a shot as well. We decided to get a flu shot for him. When the nurse came in with the shots Nixon said, "Are you going to shot me too?" At this point he didn't know, and the nurse didn't know what to say...So I told him that he was going to have one shot but Addie was going to have FIVE so he needed to go first and show her that it is okay and how to be tough. He was not happy, but he quickly recovered as soon as he got not one, but two suckers! Addie was a champ too, it won't ever be easy watching your babies get shots, but I guess it is something that I know is best for them so they a few seconds of pain is better than taking the risk in a serious illness!
